When to Engage Counsel
We assess when counsel is needed based on the nature of the work and who is best positioned to perform it. Engagement begins only when it adds value.
Defining the Work
We work with counsel to define what needs to be done before the work begins. This includes identifying workstreams, sequencing tasks, and establishing assumptions. Scope is actively managed and refined as the engagement progresses.
Selecting Counsel
Counsel is selected based on the specific needs of the engagement. This may include existing relationships or identifying new providers. Decisions are grounded in expertise, seniority, and availability.
Fees
Fee arrangements are structured at the outset and monitored throughout. We maintain discipline against scope and address changes as the work evolves.
Coordination
We manage the engagement across all participants. Timing, communication, and alignment are maintained across workstreams to keep the work moving forward.
